New Welcome Homes & Onboarding Experience

We’re rolling out new Welcome Homes and a revamped intro + onboarding for newcomers to Infiniverse!

Say hello to your new gateway into Multiverse life — Welcome Buildings across the city, a sleek new design for Home Rooms, and relaxed sit-and-dock AI Agents who welcome you to your new home (no paperclips required). Plot owners can now actively shape a newbie’s first steps. It’s your chance to welcome, mentor, and grow your neighborhood.

This is Phase I of an evolving system. More iterations are on the way, but this update delivers a big boost for first-time players and a fresh way for OGs to get involved.

What’s New?

Fresh Home Room Skins - Sleek visual upgrades to make every new start feel impressive.

New Players Dedicated Home Rooms in Welcome Buildings - New players get an apartment in a tagged Welcome Building (on a plot with an owner).

Existing Players get a New Home Room - One of your apartments is auto-converted to your Home Room (you can change it later).

Helpful (not so intrusive) AI Agents - AI greets you in your Home Room, then docks when idle. New tutorials unlock as you arrive at your home.

New Interactive Apartment Info Panel  - The Apartment Panel has gone through a metamorphosis too. It now showcases a property Prestige Score and stats, while letting you customize skins or set it as your home, all in one place.

How Home Rooms Work

Auto-assignment - New users are assigned a brand-new, unowned apartment in a Welcome Building (a newly built unit is created when needed).

One Home Room per user -  You can swap your Home Room to another apartment or penthouse later, but you can only have one at a time.
Auto-assigned Home Rooms are always apartments (not penthouses); you can upgrade later.

Existing users - One of your current apartments is chosen to become your Home Room. You can change it at any time. If you don’t have any apartments, you will be treated like a newbie.

Plot-owner control - You can’t pre-designate a specific apartment to be given to newbies; assignments are always random and into newly created, unowned units in your tagged Welcome Buildings.

What this means for Plot Owners with Welcome Buildings

Personalized welcome pings - You’ll receive an email and in-app notification when a new user moves into your building (includes address + username) so you can greet them personally.

Rewards - You earn 10,000 XP for each apartment assigned to a new player. There’s no cap on how many buildings you can tag as Welcome Buildings.

Neighborhood growth - More residents → more foot traffic, visibility, and momentum for your area — think storefronts, apartments for sale, nearby plots for sale, events etc.

Local culture, your way - It’s up to you to shape new users’ first impressions! Everything from the art style, signage, vibe, and destinations a newbie will visit first. Make an impact!

Mentor pipeline - Convert newcomers into community members for your quests, clubs, events, and more!

You’ll receive an email notification with details each time a new player moves into your Welcome Building.

You’ll also get an in-app notification when a new user moves in, including their username and exact address, so you can give them a personal welcome!

💡 Haven't tagged your buildings yet? Check our Manage Your  Buildings tutorial to enable Welcome Buildings and set up your welcome flow. Don’t forget to update your plot’s name, as Welcome Agents will use it when greeting newbies.

Changing your Home Room

New to Infiniverse? You’ll start with a Home Room in someone else’s Welcome Building
(auto-assigned to a fresh, unowned apartment).

OG? One of your existing apartments is set as your Home Room by default.

Either way, you can change your Home Room anytime:

  1. Go to the owned apartment or penthouse you want to call home.

  2. Locate the Apartment Info Panel (between the exit doors).

  3. Click “Set as Multiverse Home.”

  4. The location will be immediately updated as your Home Room.

In-app, look for the little house icon in the building menu — that’s your Home Room.

On multiverseonline.io, your Home Room apartment will also be clearly marked on the customization page…

And right on your main Metaverse page in the locations section.

New Interactive Apartment Info Panel & Prestige Score 🎯

Rolling out with the refreshed Home Rooms and Onboarding is an exciting new feature… the brand-new Apartment Info Panel showcasing unique Prestige Scores 🎉 — now available across all apartments!

Think Trading Card Stats for your apartment. Every apartment now has a prestige score, ranging from Starter → Legendary. It’s a live, evolving score… and it’s pure flex!

How to boost your apartment Prestige Score:

  • Skins, custom content, and AI Agents give you a solid boost.

  • Beautify your plots & surroundings with stamps for a big lift.

  • Storefronts increase the score of every apartment in the same building.

  • Likes and friends setting your apartment as Home add that extra zing.

Prestige Score is a living system of status, value, and community. Your score will shift as the world evolves, and your strategy will decide how high you climb.

  • Plot owners can raise scores across all apartments on their plots.

  • Apartment owners can customize their space for an instant score increase.

  • Social interactions — apartment likes and visits give you an extra boost.

  • And every new user arriving in a Welcome Building lifts everyone’s scores together!

Customization

From the new panel, you can also set your new Home Room and customize any of your existing apartments and penthouses. Just click the “Customize” button to browse available apartment skins. You’ll recognize the familiar interface from the Discovery Menu.

NOTE: Some features are still in development, and your prestige score will change as the world updates and we add new features.

New Welcome Homes FAQ

  • There’s no limit, you can tag as many as you like! 🎉

Just be sure to pick the most welcoming locations to give newcomers a great first impression.

Remember: tagged buildings must have available apartment slots, so increase your Welcome Building heights if needed.

    • Ground floor view – New players always start on the ground floor, so make sure the view is inviting. Landmarks, lively developed districts, or terrain stamps can make it memorable.

    • Balcony view & surroundings – Think about what newcomers will see when they step out. An interesting storefront? A jetpack ride nearby?

    • Your existing apartments & storefronts in the building – Ensure they’re customized, engaging, and staffed with AI Agents. These are likely the very first spaces new players will explore.

    • Name and describe your plot at multiverseonline.io

    • Assign an AI Agent for a personalized touch (Haley is the default Welcome Agent)

    • Plan for growth – make sure your Welcome Buildings have enough height for new apartments

    • Beautify your area – add stamps, and creative touches

    • Add storefronts and kiosks to make your neighborhood useful and lively
