Manage Your Buildings
Plot Owners can now set the maximum height for their apartment buildings and tag them as Welcome Buildings for newcomers! So, whether you want your tower to be someone’s first home in the Infiniverse or you simply want to unlock more floors, here’s how to do it:
1. Locate Your Building
Each building is managed separately. Find the one you want to customize, then teleport through its apartment door to open the Building Menu.
2. Manage Building
In the Building Menu, you’ll now see a new button: “Manage Building.” From here, you can increase the building’s maximum height and/or tag it as available for new users’ apartments.
3. Increase the Floor Number
Use the arrow buttons to adjust the current floor limit. IMPORTANT: You can raise the cap at any time, but once it’s higher, you can’t lower it, so choose wisely before hitting “Apply”!
4. Tag as Welcome Building
Toggle this option to make your building a Welcome Building, allowing newcomers to claim one of its apartments as their first home room when they join Multiverse.
Don’t forget to hit Apply. Done, you are all set!
How Welcome Buildings Work
Welcome Buildings are special player-owned apartment buildings where new players get their very first home in Infiniverse. If you tag your building as a Welcome Building, it becomes part of the pool for free apartment assignments. Here’s how it all works:
1. One Free Apartment Per Player
Every new player gets one free apartment when they join.
This apartment is theirs to keep forever — it’s not a rental or trial.
Farming extra apartments with secondary accounts will be flagged, and repeat abuse can lead to a permanent ban.
2. Home Rooms & Spawn Points
Each player has one Home Room — their main apartment where they spawn when logging in.
You can change your Home Room anytime in apartment settings.
You can’t sell your active Home Room, but you can switch to a different apt. and sell the old one.
New players start inside their Home Room instead of the old default spawn area.
3. Assigning Apartments to New Players
If your building is tagged as a Welcome Building, the system can assign new players their free apartment there.
If no Welcome Buildings are available, the system picks from a random non-player-owned building.
Priority: Player-owned Welcome Buildings are always filled first before fallback buildings.
Apartments are assigned randomly from the available Welcome Building pool (we may add re-roll/selection options later).
4. Owner Benefits & Controls
Tagging a building as a Welcome Building is 100% optional and can be toggled off anytime.
You won’t earn MC from Welcome Homes, but you will gain:
XP
Higher building and plot value
Increased population bonus (reducing costs for nearby plots)
New residents are greeted by AI Agents in their Home Room. Ideally, this will be one of your AI Agents; if not, the system will provide one.
