Dear Multiverse Community,
This is one of the hardest messages we've ever had to write.
After many years of building, learning, growing, and creating together, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to sunset Multiverse. The platform is no longer financially sustainable, and despite everything we tried, we are unable to continue operating the servers long term.
Multiverse will officially close on May 1, 2026.
The landscape of social VR has proven unforgiving. We watched pioneers like AltSpace close their doors. We saw Horizon Worlds - backed by one of the most powerful companies on earth - announce the end of its run on Quest. The harsh reality of operating a massive social platform has become clear to the entire industry. And yet, as an independent studio, we outlived the giants. We weathered the metaverse longer than anyone expected, and that was entirely because of the unmatched passion and dedication of this community - YOU.
From the very beginning, Multiverse was more than an app. It became a world shaped by the people inside it. Together, we built communities and constructed whole cities. We opened storefronts and hatched Dragon Eggs. From simple room templates, we grew into curated art galleries, unveiled statues, and hosted events with thousands of simultaneous participants. Our OGs stood by us through every phase… we salute you. Our INFO team welcomed and guided newcomers with patience and heart. Entire neighbourhoods, causes, friendships, and memories were born here.
It is difficult to put into words how much has happened and how much we have shared over the years. We are deeply grateful to every creator, builder, explorer, moderator, supporter, and dreamer who made Multiverse what it became.
Between now and May 1, the platform will remain fully accessible. Revisit your spaces. Reconnect with friends. Capture your memories. In the coming weeks, we will create dedicated spaces for memory sharing and celebration of everything this community built together.

💻 ACCOUNT & ACCESS
Multiverse will remain fully accessible until the end of April 2026. From that date onwards, the app and its services will be taken offline. We know this is difficult, and we encourage everyone to revisit and capture the spaces that meant the most to you.
🌎 WORLDS, BUILDS & CREATIONS
Your creations are at the heart of Multiverse. All spaces will remain accessible until the end of April. After that, they will no longer be available online, so we strongly encourage you to preserve your memories now.
🪙 METACOINS & VIRTUAL ITEMS
Metacoins and virtual items are digital goods governed by a combination of our & META’s Terms & Conditions. While they are non-refundable, they remain fully usable in the app until the servers are disabled.
💳 SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
Final subscription payments will be processed on April 1, 2026. Monthly plans will remain active through the end of April, and no new subscriptions or renewals will be available after April 1.
Annual subscribers whose plans extend beyond May 1 may request a prorated refund for unused full months by contacting support@ftl.ltd after April 1; refund requests will be processed after May 1 in the order received. You do not need to cancel your subscription as it will end automatically by May 1.
Please note that self-cancelled subscriptions are not eligible for refunds in line with our Terms & Conditions.
